Hat Care
Your felt hat is resilient in light to moderate rain. In heavy rain, airdry it flat, away from heat sources.
Store your hat on a flat surface or within a hat box, away from direct sunlight.
If unpleasant odors arise from bacterial buildup in your hat's fibers, freeze your hat overnight – a bacteria-busting cold treatment that won't harm it.
When it comes to cleaning the leather sweatband, simply use a regular makeup remover or mild soap with a cloth or cotton pad.
In case your hat's brim becomes misshapen, use damp white cloth along with a vapor iron. Then, let it dry on a flat surface overnight.
Hatbands and trimmings are not a permanent aspect of the hat and can be customised or replaced.
To clean, use a soft-bristled brush or a gentle sponge. Brush in a counterclockwise with the crown facing you. When dealing with mud, let it dry first. For grease stains, use cornstarch or a reliable dry cleaner.
Keep in mind that occasional stains on your hat are a testament to your personal style and life journey. Embrace them and wear your weathered hats proudly.
