Our Story

Triburi is an ode to creativity, an inspiration for you to create some of your own artistic desire. To imagine rather than to shop, to be authentic rather than popular — it is a truth we’ve long loved when it comes to making our hats.

Why We Create

We believe in objects made with intention. In hands that shape, adjust, pause, and begin again. In giving things time — to form, to transform, to become.

We create hats that carry traces of the hand, of the journey, of the person who will wear them. Craft is our language. Curiosity is our compass. Imperfection is part of the story.

From Start to Finish

1. Choosing the base

Premium felt fibers selected for durability, density, and refined texture.

2. Blocking the shape

The form is steamed, pressed, and sculpted entirely by hand.

3. Refining the silhouette

Edges are cut, shaved, balanced, and smoothed until the shape feels right.

4. Details & trimmings

Unique ribbons, upcycled fabrics, vintage finds — small elements that become signatures.

5. Finishing touches

Hand-sewn sweatbands, ironed brims, subtle nuances that make each piece singular.

6. The final piece

A hat with presence, character, and quiet individuality.

What Makes Us Different

One-of-a-kind: each hat evolves in its own direction.

Shaped by hand: every curve and line carries human touch. Intentional materials: natural fibers and meaningful trimmings sourced worldwide.

Slow craftsmanship: nothing rushed, nothing mass-produced.

Custom tools: artisan-made tools created specifically for Triburi.

A distinct identity: expressive details, honest textures, bold subtlety.

What We Work With

We work with natural felt — fine, premium fibers sourced in Europe, chosen for their structure and longevity.

Every trimming — ribbon, rope, fabric, or accessory — is selected with intention.

Many pieces come from travels, flea markets, and vintage archives, bringing texture and stories to each hat.

Upcycled and repurposed materials are essential to Triburi. They carry history, depth, and character — qualities we value deeply.

Our Approach to Sustainability

We don’t believe in the idea of perfect sustainability. We believe in intention: repurposing whenever possible, choosing lasting materials, avoiding unnecessary stock, crafting slowly.

Our packaging follows the same principle — minimal, purposeful, respectful of the world it comes from.
